Have you ever rented a helium tank for a party? We did and it came with these awesome face stickers to use. We had a lot left over and Maise is very much into stickers I knew we would put them to use. So we finally did, at first I gave them to her just to mess with and then I asked if she wanted paper. She said yes so I grabbed the floor pad. She then asked me to play. Melt my heart I love my baby!! I sat on the floor and we started playing and she was talking about what the pieces were but with the big blank sheet she was kind of just plopping them down. So I drew two circles/ovals and said "let's make faces". It was fun! Recycle points (leftover product) and time points (we played for a good 30 minutes) and low costs points (didn't need anything new).

The Painted Noodle
What do you do with stale noodles? Well paint them of course! I saw a fun episode of noodle and doodle where they painted macaroni, it looked fun and like something Maise would have liked to do. Although when I decided to do it I just so happened not to have any macaroni noodles so we went for what we had a flat soup noodle. Hey improvising can be fun. This project was only a part one. We will revisit later on with a noodle and glue project this is just the prep work. I think this was a lot of fun. I loved that my daughter was able to be actively involved. Learning points for mixing colors. Recycle points for it actually being a 2 in 1 project as well as a good use of stale food. Savings points for not only costing nothing but actually adding value to a product that could no longer be used! I will do variations of this project in the future most probably the macaroni route so that we could get some awesome jewelry out of the deal!
See you next week for The Glued Noodle!
